Kids Say the Darndest Things!

Just had to record for posterity some of the cute things the kids have said lately.

Jack: (while watching me apply makeup) "You color your face, Mom!"

Todd: (after solving a complex problem involving a project he and his Dad were working on) Man, kids these days are just getting smarter and smarter. (I wonder if he's heard that a few times in his life!)

Kate: (completely out of the blue during dinner) "Three things I don't like about being human: 1) I have to do lots of homework. 2) I have to go to school. 3) I have to get up early to go to school." (Apparently she really enjoyed Christmas break.)

Kate: (the next morning, while getting ready for school) "Three things I do like about being human: 1) I get toys for Christmas. 2) I get to play with toys. 3) ....... (long pause) I guess there are only 2."

Hilarious! I agree, kids are getting way too smart these days, (especially Todd)Love that kid

Kate is the funniest little thing, I think Regan would agree with her, she's spent atleast 4 hours every night this week on homework!
