Kate and her friends Sadie and Preston wrote a fantastic play for National History Day! They performed at both the regional and state level and were fortunate to win 1st place in both! Their play was entitled "What Makes Us Sick: The History of Germ Theory." They told the story of what humans used to believe caused illness and how that has changed over that past 2000 years. It was so interesting and entertaining! Here's a video of it in case you're interested (beware, it's over 6 minutes long -- and the audio is not the best...).

I am telling you, that is an ambitious and amazing project! They did a great job both writing it and performing it! I'm not a bit surprised they one because it was top notch! Give them our congratulations! Love you tons, Mom
They are so cool! I love their motivation and ability to execute something like that!
Also, science projects were awesome!
