We have new neighbors! They come from Colorado (and before that, Wyoming. ** put your hand over your heart, DJ **). They have 5 kids. 2 girls, ages 10 and 8 and 3 boys, ages 1, 4, and 6. Needless to say, Kate and Jack are in pure heaven with so many fun playmates just next door. They're a great family and we're so happy they're our neighbors.
Saturday, after spending the morning doing a Stake Road Clean-up Project, we came home to do a cleaning project at the Wilson house! Kate's friends were kind enough to volunteer to help her, so with the help of some "Annie" music (think, "we love you Miss Hannigan!") and a bunch of rags and towels tied to their feet, Kate, Sadie, Sole, and Melissa helped clean and dust our house from top to bottom! As a reward we made and decorated Halloween cookies and then put up Halloween decorations. What a fun and exhausting day!

Halloween decorations??? You amaze me. I'm still hanging on to the last threads of Summer.
Well, except that I am loving my cardigans and fall colored clothing right now, so maybe I should just jump on the bandwagon.

Ha ha ha!! I'm totally going to have to tell DJ that one!! So exciting for you guys...new neighbors with lots of kids. How fun for your kids. Wow, you are on the ball. My kids have been talking about Halloween costumes and I'm actually kind of excited too!! Cute pictures w/ the kids, by the way!
What a little Miss Creative you are making work fun! Music makes everything more enjoyable. You did Miss Hannigan proud! Dusting done makes everything feel so clean...hmmm, can I hire your little ones? haha
